B Ballast
Microsoft 365 Copilot agent

Prove no money is missing.

Ballast reports your Shopify store's revenue and settlement inside Microsoft 365, and flags every stream that settles outside Shopify Payments — so nothing goes untracked. Ask it in Copilot; export any view to Excel.

What Ballast answers

Off-ledger money

Shopify's payout report structurally excludes third-party processors. Ballast names every gateway — Afterpay, PayPal, Shop Pay Installments, GrabPay — whose money will never appear in a Shopify payout.

Multi-currency, normalised

Orders taken in another currency are reported in both presentment and your home currency, kept strictly separate so amounts are never silently mixed.

Refunds, reconstructed

Every refund is broken back down to the line items it returned, with item names — not a single lump figure.

Fees & tax collected

Transaction fees by gateway and tax collected by jurisdiction, summarised for the period you ask about.

Multi-store rollup

Manage several stores? Roll revenue, fees and refunds up across all of them, or drill into one.

Export to Excel

Any view becomes a formatted .xlsx workbook — money as real numeric cells with the correct currency format, off-ledger rows flagged.

Why merchants trust the numbers

Ballast never asks a language model to do arithmetic. Every figure is produced by a deterministic engine using integer money math, and traces back to the order and gateway identifiers it came from. If a number is not available, Ballast says so instead of guessing.

Read-only and private. Ballast only reads your Shopify data — it never changes anything — and it stores no customer personal data. A read-only Shopify store connection is required.

How it works

  1. Connect a Shopify store to Ballast (read-only).
  2. Ask in Microsoft 365 Copilot — “Which of my money will not appear in a payout?”, “Show last month's sales by gateway.”
  3. Export any answer to Excel for your books or your accountant.
What v1 does not claim. Ballast v1 reports revenue and settlement from your order data. It does not perform a bank-account tie-out of Shopify Payments payouts — that is planned for a later version. We would rather tell you what is verifiable than overstate it.

Ballast requires a paid subscription, billed through Microsoft, and a connected Shopify store.
