No app to install. Read-only. Ballast never touches your store.
Ballast works from an export of your own orders — there is nothing to install on your Shopify store and no permissions to grant. You export your orders from the Shopify admin and upload the file to Ballast.
How to connect: in your Shopify admin, open Orders → Export and save the CSV, then upload it to Ballast. That's the whole connection.
What Ballast will and will not do
- Will read the order export you upload to compute the figures you ask for.
- Will not connect to, write to, or change anything in your store.
- Will not store your customers' names, emails, addresses, or card details.
